About me
Margareta Pislariu - Professional Chess Coach
I have been playing Chess since I was 7 years old but still continue to learn something new with each game, still feel the thrill of each new challenge and still continue to enjoy this unique game.
I am a professional chess coach providing chess coaching services in schools and clubs around London, as well as on a private basis. Due to current situation of COVID19 , I have also started to run online chess clubs and private online lesson.

I have always worked as an accountant and have always enjoyed the opportunities and challenges it brings. But for the past 7 years I have been sharing my passion for chess by coaching children so I have decided to give up my accountancy job and dedicate myself full time to help children to learn, feel and enjoy Chess.

It is enjoyable to work with children and I feel very proud when a child starts a chess club without knowing anything about chess and with the help of my lessons, by the end of a single term, that child is able to give a Checkmate.
​
I am accustomed to working with children and my programme is specially devised to teach young students how to follow rules while allowing them to also have fun. I also aim to help my students achieve long-term targets that can lead them to both local and national competitions.
